2001 Fleetwood Mallard 5th Wheel, Chevy Silverado Extended C

The Duck

See how much fun you can have with our 2001, 25-foot Mallard 5th wheel we fondly call the Duck (or Duckie) and 2003 Silverado pickup truck.

This bit older, gently used coach tows easily with our Silverado 2500 HD pickup truck, very smooth and stable. Easy to hitch/unhitch to and from the truck so that you can use the vehicle to make local drives to go site seeing, or even to the local grocery store to pick up supplies without having to secure everything in the RV before hitting the road for those short excursions.

Driving is enjoyable with oversized powered cloth seats and easy access driver side door and window. The side power mirrors extend for easy driving to see traffic on all sides. The cab seats six.

Once you are parked, you can open up the living area to extend 20 inches. With the touch of a button, the dining area slides out, expanding the living area. The sofa folds out to a full-size bed, and the dinette bed also folds out to a full-size bed and are all good places to watch TV.

Choose your entertainment. You have the choice of antenna, cable or DVD. The coach also has a stereo cassette/radio with optional CD player with ceiling speakers.

Feel pampered using the microwave, standard outlets, and use the drip coffee maker with full hookup sites. Generator available upon request. Also available as a back-up power source for sites without full hookups, is a SunForce 60 watt 12V solar panel that generates 2940 watts, with battery charging capability, that provides approximately 196 amps into a 12V battery over a seven-day period (optional).

Setting up camp is simple with hydraulic jacks that level the rig, and a full patio awning that easily extends and retracts (optional with terms). The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, 3-burner gas stove with oven, double sink, refrigerator with freezer, counter top and plenty of cabinets.

You'll feel at home with lots of interior storage, utilizing all extra space, including a pantry and under-seat storage for pots & pans, under bed storage, and in the bathroom and bedroom areas (click on main photo to see more photos of this rig).

Take this coach out on your next trip and you will be roughing it smoothly in true comfort! We hope you will enjoy your time with The Duck and come back and see us again!
